Long time no see... have I told you I'm in college now? oh... I should have... I'm finishing my second semester already! =D And I might even pass in all of my classes!

It was oddly liberating... This opportunity to wear cheap jeans, tennis and not work so much on her appearance. By normal standards, she was already pretty enough. Prettier than most.
No one here expected her to be perfect. No one expected anything of her.
Maybe "Ali" wouldn't even be bulimic.
She does find herself in a clinic, however. A cold, most likely. And the waiting room makes her wonder if she won't leave this place sicker than she arrived.
Her doctor has a sarcasm that she can appreciate, even as she giggles with his lame jokes. "Ali" is not Blair, "Ali" wouldn't throw back remarks like that. When Blair Waldorf gets in character, she stays in character. It's a wonder why few high society women become actresses, their life prepares them well enough.
He buys it, and she sees that he's discreetly checking her out. Blair was always one to create a little havoc wherever she went. So when the charts drop, she's eager to pick them up. All smiles.
In a few days, she comes for a new prescription. She lost her old one. He inquires if she's running a met lab and she laughs. No easier way to get a man's heart than laughing at his jokes, and it involves no cooking.
And then she starts to come on to him strongly. Tells him he only has to wait six months, sends him cards, calls him, waits for him in the parking lot. Princenton has surprisingly little things to do.
It's amusing and she enjoys it. Then he comes to break it up and she fakes tears. Her mask slips.
"You smirked." His tone is accusing.
"I'm sorry?" She looks up with innocent watery eyes.
"You smirked, you're not sad. You're faking it."
"And it took you this long to figure it out?" She raises her eyebrown in a way that only Blair Waldorf can pull it off and he's surprised by the presence her voice gives her. "You musn't be the best diagnostician of the country after all."
"I got to say... Well played. But why?"
"Bored."
"That I can respect."
Two hours later, they are in a coma patient's bedroom eating expensive take-out and sharing their latest schemes. House is impressed by "Ali", though she doesn't say her true name. And Blair is amused to find someone so entertaining out of high society. She briefly wonders on letting him loose on the Upper East Side. But someone would probably ask where she got him and no one can ever know about these two weeks.
Even if "Ali" got a lot more interesting now, there's no romantic or sexual tension between them. He's not Blair's type, and she's too young to be his.
"High society, I'm guessing." That freezes her. He's getting too close. "And bulimic too. I examined you, remember? Poor little rich girl."
"Pot calling kettle back." She won't lose composure. "You might not have an eating disorder, but you take too many pills for it to be normal. And my standard of normal is high society's idea of medication."
Blair leaves shortly ever. Meeting with House, either to seduce him or to share "evil manipulations", has lost it's charm. She won't return to Princenton and he will one day find her in Page 6, or, Heaven forbid, in Gossip Girl. Someone like House would create mayhem with that... Perhaps it isn't such a bad idea after all. She should mail him the basic concept of spying on everyone's life and posting on a website. He already does half of the job for fun.
She still has many places to visit. A quick trip to Vegas, a tour in Florida, a few days in LA clubs. She goes everywhere. But one can't never escape the past, so she dyes her hair back, curls it, puts in place her headband (is the thing tighter now? it's even giving her a headache) and gets a plane back to New York and conection to France before anyone can snap a Sidekick picture out of her.
It feels nice to be the only one keeping a secret not even Gossip Girl will ever know.
