I know... this isn't like me at all. But Tink sent me a text message, just enough to get a drabble out and I wanted to write it down as fast as possible. It's not revised or any of that fancy stuff. And some words may be misspelled.
It's a House M.D. drabble. My latest passion. I'm still totally digging OTH, don't worry.
Puzzle
She's a puzzle and he's intrigued. Not because she is just a pretty girl who could have done better without studying. It's not her beauty that strikes him the most. (Even if it helps.)
He's surprised to find she's an atheist right on their first interview and he seeks for lies in her eyes. There aren't any. She makes the "daddy's little girl" type. But daddy's girls go to church.
And she believes in humanity. Her faith in people surprise him the most. She refuses to believe in a higher power but she's willing to think that the next guy will do the right thing always. Even when given plenty of evidence to the contrary.
He won't admit it, but he wants to protect her. So he tries to break her bit by bit, just so she won't come crashing down at once.
She will look at him and ask which is worse.
