Nineteen
current song: Chasing cars - Snow Patrol
I really wasn't going to do this. I don't like writing sequels to one-shots because they don't come out right, but the inspiration kind of came and even though I'm not that happy with it, I decided to post it.
This is a follow up to "Seventeen".

Nineteen
Dean is not sure why he remembers her. They never met and all he saw of her was a glimpse in a magazine years before. But standing there, he recognizes her as Sandy's best friend. Sandy that was Lilly. That was only seventeen.
They aren't in a bar this time around.
There had been some weird disturbances at the local college and Sam wanted to check out the library. She is standing behind the counter, working on a laptop. No longer the picture of misery and angst he saw in the funeral photo.
He doesn't walk up to her and he doesn't say anything. It might set off a chick flick moment.
Later, they are in a bar. And he sees her again.
This time, Sam notices his staring. "I don't think she is jail-bait anymore, but the guy with his arm possessively around her might be her boyfriend."
"I bet I could take him." Sam rolls his eyes. "Remember a few years ago, that chick with the donut brother?"
Sam frowns but nods. "The one that was murdered?"
"Yeah... I think that girl is her best friend."
Sam's frown deepens and Dean can tell that his brother is interested. Not in the girl but in how his brother managed to remember her.
"Do you want to talk to her?"
"And say what? Hey, I met your friend in a bar a few months before she was murdered, want to trade stories?" The older Winchester doesn't notice his brother signals to "shut up", not until it's too late.
"You what?" Her voice is soft and he turns around to see her right behind him, her boyfriend by her side.
So much for avoiding a chick flick moment.
R & R... please??

Please tell me there's more of this coming! I've been watching VMars all the way through, and the only thing better than it is VMars + SPN. :)
And which boyfriend is it??? Duncan? Logan? I'm curious...
