Ok... when you see which fandom I chose for the next drabble you are allowed to mock me. But I love Disney productions, I'm a kid inside and a little on the outside too because everyone gives me way less than my 18 years. My height probably doesn't help, the last time I checked I was 1,55 meters...
Anyway, this is a small HSM ficlet. Enjoy! BTW, it's G rated! And unbeta'ed! I seriously need one!!

Even if you hate her - or claim you do - you can't deny her talent. When she doesn't masquerade it with glitter and fast-paced songs, she's better than Gabriella, better than you.
Her soft voice echoes on the large room and everyone is watching. She does a few steps of a complicated coreography. She is grace in action, her feet barely grazing the floor before they are high in the air again. She stops and sings the last heartbreaking chord.
No one can compete with that. She got the part.
You're not paying attention to the applauses, however. You're thinking that she's honest only on that stage. She's only honest when she's acting and there's no popularity contest or reputation to keep. You love to see her there.
But she can't stay there all the time and as soon as she abandons it, you can see the change. She's smug, she knows she did better than Gabriella and any other girl stupid enough to try out. Her sarcasm bites and you sigh. You'll have to wait until the play to catch a glimpse of her again.
