Heath and Wallace
current song: I'll Never Love This Way Again - Warwick Dionne
The new layout is in honor of Heath Ledger. It doesn't matter how he died, just how he lived. I fell in love with his characters and I'll miss his passionate acting.
In a happier note, my muse visited me last night, at 4:30 in the morning, and made me postpone thoughts of sleeping to write these two drabbles down. Both have Wallace as a main character, which makes me nervous since I never wrote him.
Title: The Story of a Friendship
Rating: PG
Summary: Wallace and Veronica. From the beginning.
On the first day of school he was taped (naked) to the flagpole.
Though, Wallace was not a damsel-in-distress and Veronica Mars was far from being a knight in shinning armor, she came to his rescue.
With a knife - that she supposedly shouldn't carry in school grounds - she cut him off and that, like they say in the movies, was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
They helped each other in high school, college and the years that came after. Sometimes the scale dipped dangerously to one side but they always found a way to balance it all out.
It was an exhausting job being BFF's with the blonde girl/woman, she didn't trust easily and he had to push for details other people would give freely.
Still, if anyone asked, she was worth the effort.
And he couldn't not mention the snickerdoodles. He had been right all those years ago, on that week they first met, Veronica Mars was a marshmallow.
(The same could be said about him.)
And she was dying to bake him something.
Title: Intentions and Dreams
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Lilly pays a visit to Wallace.
"Snap out of it. This is not supposed to be one of your wet dreams."
Perhaps if the lady in question wasn't his best friend's dead friend he would find it in his heart to enjoy it more.
"Then what is this supposed to be?"
"Your intentions with Veronica."
"Wow, wait a second. I don't like her like that."
"I meant as a friend, dorkus. Seriously, if Veronica was looking for a replacement, she could have found a better one. Though, to be honest I can't be replaced." She looked as she was entertaining the question a bit before she continued. "Look, you know she's been burnt badly, try not to do the same or I'll come back to haunt your ass."
And she looked so serious that he could do nothing but nod. She smirked. There should be a warning label on that evil grin of hers.
"And what a fine ass it is." She told him, running her eyes over his shirtless body and mentally undressing the rest.
"I thought this wasn't supposed to be a wet dream."
There it was again. The smirk.
"Not one of yours."

These were really good, especially the second one. I love any fic that involves Wallace.
